Founded in 2004, Modal Design is a full-service architectural firm that pursues single family residential and small-scale commercial projects. Work across California and Arizona is driven by a process that poses questions, providing opportunities to challenge architectural norms and realize innovative solutions. Led by Harvard University-trained Daniel Monti, AIA, NCARB, the firm thoroughly investigates the possibilities inherent in any project, including what has already been done, in order to push beyond accepted conventions and expectations.
