OLANZ Architecture + Design is an architecture and design practice based in Miami and founded by Cuban American designers & architects René Oñate & Mabel Lanza. Mr. Oñate & Mrs. Lanza began their architectural studies at the School of Architecture Jose Antonio Echeverria (CUJAE), Havana, Cuba and they have graduated with a Master of Architecture in 2009 & 2011 at Florida International University School of Architecture + The Arts where Oñate was honored with the Design Excellence Award in 2009 for his Master Project " Green Architecture in a Historical Urban Setting" and Lanza was honored with the Design Excellence Award in 2011 for her Master Project " The Sense of Place".
