Barker Associates Architecture Office (previously BFDO Architects) is an award-winning New York-based practice founded in 2006 by Alexandra Barker, AIA, LEED AP with a focus on exploring spatial and material approaches that adapt to the evolving contemporary relationships between inhabitants and the built environment. BAAO has worked in the public and private sector on a range of projects that include townhouses, residential developments, ground-up private residences, interiors, and educational and retail projects in the New York area, regionally, and internationally.
