Rutherford Design Services is a design-focused, residential design firm founded by Cody Rutherford. He designs homes that are site-specific and inspired by the scenic beauty of woods, lakes, farms, fields, towns, and cities that inhabit the rolling land of the Piedmont region in North Carolina. His studio is located in Albemarle, North Carolina, home to Morrow Mountain State Park, Lake Tillery, and the Western Gateway to the Uwharrie National Forest. While many of Rutherford's designs are located in the Piedmont region, he's currently designing homes throughout North Carolina, Northern South Carolina, and Southern Virginia.
